Public Meeting - Save Warrender Park Road Post Office

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Mon 25th Aug 2008

Mike Pringle and the Lib Dem team have arranged a public meeting for Tuesday 9th September at 7:30pm at Marchmont St Giles Church, Kilgraston Road. Representatives from Royal Mail will be present to answer questions and the Sub Postmaster from Warrender Park Road Post Office - Graham Smalley - has agreed to speak about why he believes his business should remain open. Local Councillors and the Community Council will be represented.

There will of course be opportunities to question Royal Mail and information about how to object to the proposal. All are welcome at this meeting.

You can submit your comments and objections to the local public consultation into the plans by following the link below or direct to Royal Mail by writing without a stamp to: National Consultation Team, Post Office Ltd, Freepost Consultation Team. You can of course drop that response into the Warrender Park Road post office or send it to Royal Mail at that address. Royal Mail also has a direct phone number which is 08457 22 33 44. You can also sign the petition at Warrender Park Road Post Office.
